KLOK-01 HERITAGE

Like the revolutionary Bauhaus artistic mocement found in Weimar, owning a KLOK-01 HERITAGE is combining the bi-dimensoinal ergonomics of telling the time with a new aesthetic.

The circular side rule inspires this collection through detials that can be interpreted as revealing signs of an increasingly technical world.

 

Set into a sleek styled case, the circular dial features time variation with the discretitaion of the typography and the indexes, taken from slide rules.

The KLOK-01 HERITAGE collection has architectural geometrical lines in bold colours to enhance dial readability.

In this original work, which draws on mathematics, function takes precedence over form and aims to unite aesthetics and technology.

TIME DISPLAY

For the first model, Klok-01, it’s not the hands that go around but rather three concentric dials – one for the hours, one for the minutes and one for the seconds – on the same horizontal plane and in the counter-clockwise direction.

Time is displayed along the vertical axis, at the top of the dial. This provides the wearer with an instant graphical and user-friendly overview of the time.
