The klokers concept, created in March 2013 by Nicolas Boutherin, had its first artistic and commercial life from 2014 to 2018 with the business partnership of Nicolas Boutherin and Richard Piras. More than 10 people then worked on the development and distribution of the brand in more than 300 stores and 20 countries around the world.

From 2018 to 2019, klokers was reorganising to meet the challenge of reaching its financial equilibrium and adapting to its market. Nicolas Boutherin left the company.

In 2020, klokers announced a new journey in time, with a new team. On the strength of their perfect craftmanship and knowledge of industry, product design, brands and the digital sectors, some business people came together within a new structure under the name of Kinaöök in order to put Klokers back on the map, in France and internationally. Cooperation with all suppliers has been strengthened around the manufacturer Mercier, a guarantee of Swiss-Made watchmaking expertise and high standards.

Nicolas Boutherin, creator of the concept, re-joined this new team at the request of the main investor, Patrice Joubert.
