In 2017, Klokers proposed the 08 for men and women with a special tribute to the 1960s, an era from which it inherited a look and feel inspired by pop, art, design and fashion. Once again featuring the coplanar dial principle, the geometric styling of the hemispheric case perfectly matches the rounded design so typical of the Space Age years.
A combination of science and unisex fashion, the rounded styling of the metal case forms the backdrop to a cream white dial, topped in the centre by an orange coloured disc, a colour so synonymous with the “Pop Art” years. Thanks to this successful combination, the dial embodies all the dynamism and restless modernity of the 1960s, signalling the advent of post-modernism.
